I am Tana, the creative visionary behind this platform. I am a writer, cultural consultant, and language educator, but my work stretches beyond titles. It centres on Yoruba language and heritage, and how these cultural roots can inform communication, shape identity, and expand global understanding.
The Global Tana began as Olori Tana in 2018, offering thoughtful, multifaceted content solutions. Seven years later, the vision has expanded. This rebranded hub now exists as a cultural techxpertise platform, blending deep heritage understanding with modern tools, strategy, and storytelling. It advances a grounded belief that culture is not just memory or aesthetics. Culture is the essence of our being.
The Global Tana is an evolving space where Yoruba identity, intercultural clarity, and creative expression come together to shape meaningful experiences across borders. It was created to support individuals, teams, and organisations seeking to set the cultural tone right in their projects, policies, and personal endeavours. I help them ensure better representation, deeper clarity, and broader audience reach, all rooted in cultural intelligence. I consult on cross-cultural communication and heritage-sensitive strategies. I also create digital products, language resources, and artistic tools that celebrate culture, identity, and creative self-expression.
Yoruba culture and language are two of Nigeria’s most significant global exports. This platform is positioned as both a voice and a force that keeps this expansion grounded in the philosophies and indigenous knowledge systems on which the culture is founded.
